• Kara was board october 15th to her two loving parents. they'd met on an internet dating site and it was love at first sight. they dated for a year before getting married. kara was their first and last child.
  
• kara grew up as a rich little girl who got everything she wanted. to accepted it with grace and thanks, though, and loved her material things. she's not greedy, however, just spoiled. she's humble, so that's why she gets so much.
  
• kara was a A+ student with a huge (good!) school record. she'd never gotten a detention. she did everything she was asked, although it was just a ploy to suck up to all the adults.
  
• kara really isn't as sweet as she is, and became pretty popular by junior year. she wasn't exactly a-list, but she was about b+-list. she was known for her looks, her smarts, and more importantly, her friends. kara was friends with alot of people.
  
• kara was not one of those people who partied till she dropped, but she did party occasionally (and was one of those people to throw a party!). however, she only did *occasionally*, so that her school record wouldn't be damaged in any way. she hangs around guys, and most of her friends are guys, but she doesn't do anything bad with them.
  
• she was with her mother, on the plane, but she died as it crashed. kara was numb, and didn't know what to do. the reason her mother was there was because she was going to Europe, which was a bit further than where Kara and her classmates would be going.
  

WHAT WERE YOU DOING JUST BEFORE THE PLANE CRASHED ?
i was reading my book (a very old book i've read countless times) Frogs & French Kisses by sarah mlynowski. I was also eating some yogurt and drinking water. when the plane crashed, but yogurt had exploded all over my dolce&gabanna top, which is now stained beyond repair, thanks to know dry cleaners being around here.


WHEN THE PLANE CRASHED, DO YOU REMEMBER HOW YOU GOT TO THE SHORE ?
When the plane crashed... I don't really remember much. I'd hurt my left arm really bad... part of the window that i was sitting next to (and it exploded on me when we crashed) went into my arm... and i still have the scars. thanks to someone who had neosporin, it's slowly healing, but still -- i got off and tried to rescue as much of my stuff as i could. my two suitcases that i had above me survived, but they were just my clothes and *some* bathroom stuff. not enough to survive off of. I got those out (and they had minor water damage) and then i looked around... i saw my mom, dead, and then i started sobbing... then that's all i really remember. i kind of blocked out the rest.

WHAT PERSONAL BELONGINGS DID YOU FIND FROM THE PLANE OR IN YOUR LUGGAGE THAT YOU LATER CARRIED TO THE CAMP ?
since i only had two of my seven suitcases, i only got like, six outfits. and then i have a straightener (from my other one) which i can't use, some granola bars from my stash, a comb, hairspray, same hair clips, bathroom needs, some underclothing, two pairs of shoes (the ones i were wearing that were pumps--badly damaged, and a yellow pair of flip flops -- some make up, some nail polish and stuff like that... there's nothing really else major. those are like, the basics. but i feel so secluded and alone.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL ABOUT BEING STRANDED ON AN ISLAND ?
I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. I'm leaving L.A., my whole life there, for this stupid island! i have like, nothing left, nothing to do--i wasn't even a girl scout! i can't believe this! i'm going to die! i'm going to end up like my mom! my mom, who's supposed to take care of me, but was never really there, is gone! i can't believe it... i can't believe it.....
